![]() If you're interested in watching storm coverage and don't have access to The Weather Channel (Cantore is out there!!!!!), I high recommend watching a Fox Weather stream from their website. I'll even throw in some pretty pictures of satellite currently. Below are some graphics of track, rainfall expected, and storm surge forecasts. The next full update will occur at 5pm eastern. The NHC forecasts for Idalia to landfall as a 125mph upper end Category 3 hurricane. NOAA and Air Force planes are still flying into the storm for data collection, with a couple of planes currently getting ready to head out as we speak. As it is no longer hindered by the land interaction with Cuba, rapid intensification is still anticipated before making landfall tomorrow morning in the Big Bend area of Florida. ![]() Idalia reached hurricane status early this morning and continue to strengthen as it moves N through the Gulf of Mexico. Good afternoon everyone, we have some updating to do on Hurricane Idalia. ![]()
